Hello, so basically I had signed a consent form for implants between 350-385 ( wanting the 385) now when I woke up from my surgery I knew immediately that something was wrong. They were lop sided and extremely far apart. The doctor had only put in 345 ( less then I consent too) and the scars seems very bad compared to one’s I’ve seen in healed photos. Is this something that the dr is required to fix or do I have to pay again?

Answer: Breast augmentation there are many things going on here. First, when did you have your procedure? Do you have pre-op photos of yourself to share? The difference between a 345 and 350cc implant are so small the naked eye cannot discern them apart. Implants come in all different sizes and go up in certain increments (usually 25-35cc's depending on the size and shape). I agree your cleavage is a bit wide, but that may be due to your anatomy or the surgeon's technique. The IM scar is healing and might be a bit wider or longer than others I have seen, but certainly not terrible (I have seen FAR worse!). After they have settled some (if you are less than 6+ months post-op), you may have a revision to open the medial pocket to reduce the wide cleavage. This usually has a smaller OR fee. Best wishes.
