Can Accutane cause redness and eczema on your chest? Im on my 6th week and my chest is extremely red and looks like eczema

Accutane essentially works by suppressing your oil gland activity, so many side effects related to dryness of the skin can occur.  Your rash is best explained by the skin in that area getting so dry that it is causing skin irritation.  This leads to an irritant contact dermatitis.  You may be able to control this rash with prescribed topical steroids, so I would suggest asking your dermatologist for such treatment.

Dry lips, face and arms, that looks and acts like eczema, is very common with Accutane (Isotretinoin).  But, any area of the body may get dry, red and irritated.  Be sure to use a gentle soap on the body (like Dove), and moisturize a few times a day with Cerave Cream.  For itch and more significant irritation, an over the counter or prescription cortisone can be added, or the dose of the Isotretinoin lowered for a while.

Accutane can cause extreme dryness of the skin. The full skin, not just on the face. So for people who are prone to eczema and things, you need to make sure you are using good, thick moisturizer applied after cool water several times a day to the full body.
