I have old stretch marks on my hips and butt area and was wondering if micro-needling would be a good option?

The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started.

Answer: Stretch Marks Yes! Microneedling with RF such as Vivace are very helpful in improving tone and texture as well as stretch marks in different areas of the body! Whilst Microneedling with RF can be expensive, it delivers excellent results and is a bit less risky than undergoing anesthesa with surgical removal of each little stretch mark. Hope this helps!

You will need many sessions depending on the condition of the stretch marks. Also be aware that microneedling will make them less visible but not eliminate them completely.

Answer: Microneedling + PRP for stretch marks Yes, microneedling with PRP is excellent to help smooth and improve the appearance of stretch marks. A series of treatments will be needed, usually 3-6 treatments spaced every 3-4 weeks.
