Will I see results in microneedling even if I taken ibuprofen?

Yes, this should not impact your results. I recommend following up with a cosmetic dermatologist for aftercare. You may have some redness which is due to the histamine release.  I find adding PRP decreases redness more quickly and we like to do microneedling with lasers to get better outcomes.  Best, Dr. Emer
 

No need to worry. Taking ibuprofen before and after your microneedling with PRP treatment will not lessen your results. Enjoy your results and your future treatments!

Ibuprofen will not interfere with your microneedling treatment. Should you develop some facial redness after the treatment you should not be concerned. In a couple of days your skin will look refreshed, radiant, and younger.

Ibuprofen is fine to take after microneedling if necessary. Since PRP is known to be strongly inflammatory, in my office, we use the ProCell Therapies system which combines motorized micro-needling with concentrated human growth factor serums made from human stem cells, which are very anti-inflammatory. Ibuprofen is then rarely needed after treatment. Serums contains concentrated growth factors derived from human bone marrow stem cells have been found to be superior to other sources of growth factors such as PRP.
