Hi! Thank you for being bold and describing your symptoms. You are not alone as many experience all you describe. If you are a grade II, it really depends on how much the sensation of pressure bothers you. Prolapse certainly can be corrected surgically, and if you have a gaping instroitus, this does need some correction. With CO2 fractional lasers such as Co2re Intima, you can get some tightening and correction of urinary incontinence with a much faster return to work and sex than with surgery. You will have improvement of mild to moderate urinary incontinence, even after the 2nd treatment and I definitely notice tightening by time I am performing the third treatment. So if you are a Grade I or II and are hesitent to go under the knife, this may be a good alternative for you. The introitus may have some degree of improvement but may need a minor correction there. Maybe get a second opinion from someone who offers both surgical and nonsurgical procedures.
Best of Luck!
