I have a muscle flex deformity on my left breast. What can I do to have it fixed and does Medicare Advantage in MI cover it?

Thank you for sharing your question. Although not predictable some patients with subglandular implants will develop some form of animation deformity. The only treatment is to place the implant above the muscle. That said, animation deformity is not dangerous and need not be treated. Hope this helps.

I'm sorry to hear about your flex deformity. It can be surgically corrected but is not covered by insurance. If you are interested in addressing it see a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation.

If this flexion is from an augmentation, Medicare will not cover this and surgery will be needed to improve this. Medicare does not cover cosmetic procedures except to remove ruptured old gel implants.
