I’ve had huge struggles with breastfeeding my first baby and could only manage to produce 2-3oz a day even using medications to lactate. I have tuberous breasts but am wondering if you would also diagnose me with IGT? I have 285cc Natrelle implants placed over the muscle. Would an explant possibly help with milk production in future due to the placement of the implants? Would I be left with lots of droopy skin as I wouldn’t want a lift for future breastfeeding? Thanks in advance

Answer: Implant removal Dear Selfconscious2020, generally spekaing, breast implants don't affect glandular tissue so it is unlikely to expect that removal of breast implants will increase lactation. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Implants Implants may be having no effect on your ability to produce milk, so removing them may make no change. Some women just cannot breast feed well or even at all. Also, every pregnancy is different, and you may find breast feeding is easier or harder the second time. You are not that larger, so removing them would not leave a lot of excess skin, but you will have some.
