Sculpsure on fibrous fat tissue?

Fat can be softer and less fatty(fibrous) depending on the area. Having done hundreds of liposuction procedures over the years, I can confirm this finding. The upper abdomen and back areas are generally more fibrous than the lower abdomen, flanks and thighs. Sculpsure results will also vary on the consistency of the fat. Probably, more treatments will be necessary to obtain better results.

Without seeing you in person, it is impossible to give you any kind of truly accurate assessment. SculpSure works extremely well on the lower abs and back. However, if your fat is more fibrous, which sounds like the case, it may simply take more than one treatment. For now, be patient. It takes anywhere from 8-13 weeks to get your final results. SculpSure is very effective at removing fat from the lower abdominal wall and flanks, where the fat is a little softer than in other areas of the trunk.  In the more fibrous fat areas, you may need additional treatments. Best of luck.

Thanks for your question.SculpSure specifically targets fat cells, with full results appearing at about 6 to 12 weeks. 12 weeks after your first round, evaluate our results and see if a follow up treatment is necessary. It is individual to each patient, but considering your body fat percentage, you should see desired results from the initial SculpSure treatment.

SculpSure treats up to 25% of fat in the treated area, with full results in 12 weeks. With more fibrous areas, it is possible you may need more than treatment to achieve your aesthetic goal.

SculpSure uses a diode laser with a wavelength that is absorbed by subcutaneous fat cells.  The heat of the light disrupts the cell which is then removed by our body's immune system.  If you have more fibrous tissue/scar tissue than fat cells, you will not see as noticeable results than someone with more fat cells than fibrous tissue.  The AVERAGE fat reduction is 24% with SculpSure, so that means half the treated people have less than 24%, some as little as 5-10% reduction.

As long as there is fat, it can be targeted with SculpSure. Based on the low body fat percentage you have, I would imagine you would only need one treatment to see results you are pleased with. Results can be seen as early as 6 weeks but could take up to 12 - just be patient, SculpSure works.

SculptSure will reduce fat within the treated area whether it is more fibrous or not. However, the fibrous tissue within the area will not be reduced as it is not a target of the specific wavelength which the SculpSure emits. It is best to plan on at least two treatments per site (if not more) with SculptSure or Coolsculping in order to start noticing more visible results.

Hi. If you have subcutaneous fat in the areas that were treated then you will see a difference. Remember to give the treatment up to 12 weeks to see the full affect. In the meantime, keep exercising with cardio and weight training to get the best results. The weights will give you definition. Good Luck.
