Hi there, i had my bbl done 2-3 years ago, and i have a curious question, if i was to wear a faja again everyday would it mold my waist back in, cause now my waist feels almost like play doh
Answer: 2-3 years post-op: Can a faja still mold my waist? A surgical grade compression garment helps control the swelling by reducing the amount of fluid build-up in the surrounding area and helping the increased fluid to drain out of the body via the lymphatic system. The first few weeks of recovery are a critical time, since the tissues are shifting and conforming to your new shape. Overall, compression garments can support the healing and recovery process, promote healthy blood circulation, and may increase the chances of better results after a body contouring procedure. Wearing the compression garment years after surgery may provide you psychological support. Schedule an appointment with your plastic surgeon to determine if lipo, Bodytite, or another procedure would tighten the waist.

Answer: Can a Faja Still Mold Your Waist? Thank you for your question regarding if a faja will compress your waist. Waist trainers have been used for hundreds of years to model and contour the waist. Waist trainers temporarily mold the waist but do not yield permanent results. If you want permanent results, you may consider consulting with a plastic surgeon. I hope this helps to answer whether fajas and waist trainers can permanently mold the ways. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen. Answer: Faja after BBL Dear lynakvana, I understand your concern. It is best that you consult your plastic surgeon regarding post operative care and management (i.e including massage techniques and timing) specific to your case. Your surgeon knows your condition well and has preferences on when and what to use for faster healing and recovery. Post operative care and management depends on the type of surgery performed and the technique used during surgery among other factors. It is best, however, that you follow your plastic surgeon's advice on post operative care management for a smooth and faster healing and recovery. Answer: Waist playdo? Can you provide photos so that we can provide you a more accurate answer. Typically, a FAJA cannot permanently alter your body fat excess or skin redundancy. You may need revision surgery? Please consider a virtual conslutlation with a high definition body contouring specialist.

Answer: Pressure garments Pressure garments do not change Liposuction or fat transfer results. They don’t do that early and they don’t do it if one later. There’s no scientific evidence that they have any impact on long-term Liposuction results. Wearing one now is not going to create a permanent change but may push fluid out of the interstitial space and temporarily give some reduction in swelling. If you like wearing it then there’s no harm in doing so but it will not create a permanent change. I suppose there is one caveat for this and that is do waist trainers actually work. There is clear evidence historically and from around the world that continuous intense pressure on the body can reshape skeletal structure. There have been tribes that have extended the necks, pushed their skulls flat, Chinese who bound feet to restrict growth and successful use of waste trainers that have created permanent body changes. To actually impact skeletal structure detention has to be significant and continuous for a long period of time. I believe waist trainers work but most people are not willing to put up with the amount of pressure and Time required to actually see real results. Simply wearing a postoperative compression garment is insufficient to create a permanent change. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
