I am looking into getting liposuction for my problem areas of stomach, inner thighs, and upper arms. I am 35, 5'4" and 220lbs and have been within 10-15lbs of this weight since college. I have PCOS and struggle with the fat that collects at my stomach. Is liposuction a viable option for me?
Answer: Liposuction and TT Based on these photos, you are a candidate for liposuction and TT. This is not something that should be done together, but divided in at least 2 procedures several months apart. However, a mayor problem with safety and final outcome is your high BMI. While both procedures are going to produce significant improvement, without loosing 30 plus lbs. you will not be satisfied with final outcome. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon is recommended. Good luck.

Answer: Liposuction Dear Nony_mouse, generally speaking, you want to reach your goal weight before you consider surgery otherwise your results will be suboptimal if you continue to lose weight after the surgery. Based on your photos, you would be a better candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Excess skin after liposuction The best results from liposuction are in patients with fairly small areas of stubborn fat and skin that has not stretched much. I think that in your case, liposuction would leave a significant amount of loose skin and you would be quite disappointed with the result.

Answer: PCOS and liposuction Your BMI is very high, greater than 37. The maximum amount of fat removed in a single session is limited to 5 liters (which is a LOT), but you have significantly more. I routinely do PCOS patients with weird fatty distributions. Doing liposuction on you would be a “jump start” towards looking somewhat better. I would be limited to only one area: Either front of your stomach Or your sides and back. To do a Lipo 360 would be a two step procedure Dr. Taranow

Answer: Liposuction is an option but you will need additional skin excisional procedure Hi!! Yes liposuction can be done for you and will definitely help in motivating you for further transformation..But in your case specially in your abdomen , you also have lot of excess loose skin which needs to be excised. Just doing liposuction even with the best tightening device will leave behind lax hanging skin which will make you look aged. So I would advice to undergo 360 liposuction with tummy tuck in one stage followed by thigh and arm contouring in 2nd stage
