29 years old, 5’4, 120lbs: am I a good candidate for Vaser Liposuction on tummy/flanks? (photos)

I am 29 years old, 5’4, 120lbs. I have had 2 kids and im going in to get my boobs redone. Im conserving doing vaser lipo on my tummy and flanks while im there. I am fit so im wondering if i will be able to see a conserable difference. It’s an expensive procedure so i want to be sure its worth it for me. I want to look very toned.

Thank you for your question and photos. Based on your muscle and bony anatomy, you are an excellent candidate for VASER Hi Def Lipo. Remember, this is an advanced technique and the surgeon who can deliver the best results, must be trained in this technique. This is not an after thought of "while I'm there" for something else throw this in. Again, you could see a considerable difference with the right surgeon. Look at your surgeons' before/after photos of patients similar to your body type and you can decide if he/she can give you the results you are looking for. Good luck.

Thank you for your question regarding whether you're a good candidate for VASER liposuction of your tummy and flanks. VASER liposuction is ideal for patients with isolated areas of fat. I think you would be a good candidate for VASER liposuction of your abdomen and flanks. This will help contour your abdomen wall to achieve an athletic look. Please consult your plastic surgeon to determine how much sculpting you want for your abdomen and flanks. The linea alba or the central vertical line can be sculpted. The lateral vertical lines or semilunar lines can also be sculpted.
Additionally, the horizontal transcriptions of the rectus muscle can also be sculpted. If you decide to have all these areas accentuated, it leads to a very athletic abdomen. Please consider this with your chosen plastic surgeon. Thank you for your question regarding whether you're a good candidate for VASER liposuction.

High Definition VASER liposculpting works best on patients that already have some underlying muscle definition and tone, such as yourself. Additional removal of fat, in conjunction with skin tightening (Renuvion J Plasma or Body Tite), will help bring your muscle definition to life. Why are you considering getting a liposuction?
Your body has very little subcutaneous fat. Liposuction will not have much impact on body contour because there’s so little fat to remove it. I’m guessing that you might have slight skin laxity from previous pregnancies and this will not be addressed by Liposuction.
You can get improved muscle definition unload BMI patients with Liposuction especially on individuals with tight skin.
Delivering consistent quality liposuction results is more difficult and most people believe. It’s very important to properly vet plastic surgeons before committing to this permanent and irreversible procedure.
The type of Liposuction makes little difference in regards to the name of the equipment. What matters is the skill and experience of the provider.
Personally I’m not a big fan of high definition Liposuction for a multitude of reasons.
Talk it over with your provider and have a few other secondary consultations if you want more opinions.
Honestly I see very little indication to do liposuction in your case but in the end it’s important to know what you’re trying to achieve.

Dear KJ,
Athletic figures often don’t need any liposuction but rather liposculpting. Liposculpting will bring out definition in your muscles, and remove stubborn fat.
Find an expert in liposculpting and do a few consultations, looking at the results of their patients before making your final decision on a surgeon.

From your photos, I note a minimal degree of fullness of the mid- and lower abdominal areas as well as the flanks.  Your BMI is in a healthy range (20.6). 
Vaser assisted liposuction will narrow the waist and flatten the abdomen to achieve the "toned" look you are seeking.
Visit a board certified plastic surgeon for evaluation and discussion.
