Answer: Breast Aug questions 1. Implants need to drop and fluff, especially oversized ones like yours. Don't start worrying until 6 months from surgery. 2. Implant massage or exercises do nothing, proven by studies. So, stop messaging them. 3. Be patient, but you should know that your nipples will sit low on the breast mound because of the size of the implants chosen.

Answer: Breast implants I understand your concern, and it’s natural to be anxious about the results after a surgery like a mommy makeover. It’s essential to keep in mind that the healing process takes time, and immediate changes might not always reflect the final outcome. Swelling and initial shape changes are common, and your breasts will continue to settle and change over the coming weeks and months. However, if you have specific concerns about the shape or size of your breasts, it’s crucial to communicate openly with your plastic surgeon. They are the best person to assess your situation, provide guidance, and address any worries you might have. Your surgeon can offer you a professional evaluation based on your individual case, which can provide more reassurance and clarity about your concerns. Best of luck !

Answer: Implants riding high Quality of breast, augmentation outcomes are based on three variables. The first is the patient’s candidacy for the procedure in the first place. The second is the choice of implants and the third is placing the implant in the anatomically correct position. Implants typically drop due to gravity and contractile forces of the pectoralis muscle(if placed under the pectoralis muscle). The opposite problem of an implant riding high is an implant that bottoms out. Of those two problematic outcomes after breast augmentation having an implant that ride high is a much better outcome. While both problems may require revision surgery. Lowering the implant slightly is simple and safe. When patients have the opposite problem of implants, bottoming out or sitting too low, the problem becomes very difficult to treat, and this often leads to multiple revisions often with subsequent failure. I suggest not making an assessment within the first six months. Put April 28 on your calendar as a day you will make an assessment regarding the outcome of your procedure. That is also about the right time for your six month. Follow up appointment with your plastic surgeon. That time you can discuss the need for revision surgery if you don’t like your results. Breast augmentation surgery does have a fairly high revision rate, so what you’re going through is not unique or unusual. Ideally, all patients should have a thorough, honest discussion about Revision rates and Revision policies during their consultation. The most common expectation is that surgeons do not charge for revision surgery when it’s indicated, but may ask patient to pay for anesthesia or facility fees at cost. If a plastic surgeon is going to air and placing the implants to higher or too low, you are always better off on the safe side, which is leaving the implants, slightly high, knowing that they would rub with time, and that lowering the implant, it’s far easier than dealing with bottomed out implants, which is semi-disastrous. Keep your hopes up Because you have the potential for stunning breast augmentation outcome. Needing a tiny revision is in the end of the world, and this happens far more frequently than people think. Have faith in your provider and know that they erred on the side of safety. Granted, the ideal world would have been planted. Be perfect every time but when it comes to undesirable outcomes implants, sitting high is much easier to deal with than the opposite. This is in the big picture a fairly simple thing to fix if it even requires a revision. For now your job is the wait and not make early assessments. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
