Red nose tip 1 year after surgery. Any suggestions?

Hello , I had my surgery a year and 3 months ago with ear cartilage replacement and I have a perfect circle round red spot, my doctor said will be getter by the year and yes it did , much better but still the ring perfect circle is still there Any suggestions?

Hello and thank you for your question. I don’t place ear cartilage grafts in the tip for this exact reason. If this persists you may want to consider a revision and remove the cartilage tip graft and replace it with a soft fascial graft instead. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

From these photos, it seems that, even ignoring the red, your nose doesn't need the bump there. Maybe there's a case for going in and removing the graft that sits there, if it's causing the red and a noticeable bump?
