I'm considering genioplasty (or maybe an implant) to make my chin stronger. However, I realize that a portion of my weak chin look is due to my bite, which can be helped with orthodontics. Part of the orthodontic process, I'm told, repositions the jaw bone a little. If this is the case, would it be bad or less effective to get braces after a genioplasty procedure? Or would it be better to get braces before the genioplasty?
