What is the best way to get rid of this weight? My stomach is bloated, I gained about 10 pounds. I couldnt wesr my faja consistently because of asthma and bronchitis, thus the bloat and swelling in my stomach and around my back were the lip was done. Thanks

Answer: Swelling After Mommy Makeover With Liposuction Thank you for your question. 80% of the swelling after tummy tuck and liposuction resolves in the first three weeks with the remaining 20% resolving within three months. You don't say where you are in your post operative process so it is hard for me to know if it is normal swelling or not. Please consult your board certified plastic surgeon for an individualized assessment of the problem.

Sometimes the inactivity after the surgery and eating different foods can increase your weight. Other causes may include water-retention. Decrease your salts and try natural diuretics such as lemon and dandelion root. Lymphatic drainage or massage can help in more swollen areas. Natcotics can cause constipation, so decreasing them as soon as you can may help with the bloated feeling. Walk regularly to keep your blood flowing and muscles moving.
