Surgeon that primarily uses laser liposuction for the procedure. Miami would be great but open to anywhere in the US. From my research I have found that the results can appear lumpy and uneven which is a concern for me. I am 34 - 5'8 - 155 pds and I carry most of my weight in my lower half. I also have fair thin skin. Thanks.
Answer: Calf/Ankle Lipo Hi! All you can do is look at photos and videos of patients who have had successful lipo to the lower extremity. We have pts fly in from all over the world which just tells you that leg lipo is a highly specilaized area. Please watch lots of videos and make sure that you are well educated before choosing a surgeon!

Answer: Calves/ankles liposuction require the best skills possible so be careful where you go. Liposuction of the calves/ankles need to be done by only the very best when it comes to liposculpting. Be sure your doc does it under tumescent local with the very small micro canulas ( not under general or laser ). Your doc should stand you up and have you turn in all positions during the procedure to fine tune the results. It is very time consuming but so worth it. All docs do liposuction but seek out the few of us who really specialize in it. It is worth traveling for quality results.

There are lots of slick ads promoting different machines promising to shrink skin and remote stretch marks and cellulite. However, buyer beware, as there are no reputable scientific studies demonstrating superiority of these machines over traditional liposuction machines! Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to give yourself the best chance for the result you desire. Good luck!

I believe using VASER or ultrasound energy to melt the fat and preserve blood vessels and connective tissue in connection with power assisted liposuction and plasma skin tightening gives the best lower extremity results. Its also important for your surgeon to have an experience manual lymphatic drainage specialist in the office as I do to help guide and promote your healing!
