Why is my stomach creasing? I’m 12 days post op and I have a vertical deep crease going down my stomach. (Photos)

 Thank you very much for your question in the attached pictures. 12 days after surgery is still very early. There is still a significant amount of swelling that is very likely to decrease in the coming weeks and months.  Sometimes it is also a problem with the compression garment that squeezes the time we together. Dear Lisa,Thank you fro your pictures.  This vertical crease may be from swelling.  As the swelling goes down this crease should improve.  Keep close follow up with your plastic surgeon.Best wishes

I've seen this happen on one of my patients years ago when I did one of the limited  undermining type of abdominoplasty. The key is to get this area flat and let it heal in a flat position. The worst thing you do is where our garment closes down the middle. Because this pulls the skin in. and makes the crease worse. You need to do something to pull the skin out to the sides. Go talk to your doctor  and ask if you can wear nothing at all as opposed to something that may be pushing that skin together making the crease. 

After reading ALL your postings... appears your results are not going to satisfy you. Sorry. After 6 months a revision surgery could be offered. Maybe yu need to use only a private practice boarded PS not ones working in the clinics!
