I dont think my tip or bone is in need of much buttttt I'm not sure how it could be done. I heard about non surgical nose jobs & I believe that's only to fill in bumps .. But this lil piggy nose just needs to be thinned out. Or any better suggestions I'd be glad to hear. Thank you all again so much.
Answer: Thinning the Nose The anatomy of the nose makes something like liposuction an ineffective procedure for shaping purposes. In order to narrow a nasal tip, a combination of cartilage removal and suture techniques is generally required. Best to see an expert in Rhinoplasty for a detailed explanation. Good luck in your search.

Answer: Nose Thinning Thinning of the nose must be done by cartilage or bone modifications. In the tip of the nose it is cartilage manipulations but in some cases a small bit of fat can be removed as well.

Answer: Nose thinning Not a silly question at all. Noses primarily get their shape from the underlying supporting bone and cartilage. It is the changes to these structures and the way the skin drapes and conforms to them that cause and allow the changes. In cases of thick skin it can sometimes make it worse if the skin is "thinned" as it can become hard and scarred and unable to reflect the underlying shape. In fact for many patients with thick skin they actually need more firm cartilage structure added to force the skin to conform to the new more pleasing shape.

Answer: Closed rhinoplasty to narrow a wide nose There is no fat in the nose. The nose is composed of skin, bone, and cartilage. A closed rhinoplasty approach can accomplish narrowing the tip and narrowing the bridge with all the incisions placed on the inside of the nose. A rhinoplasty procedure is performed under general anesthesia as an outpatient surgical procedure. Anticipate 2 weeks of some degree of visible swelling and bruising after the procedure. For more information and many examples of narrowing a wide nose, please see the link and the video below

Answer: Is it possible to thin out the nose without breaking bone or cartilage It sounds like you're looking for feminine refinement of your nose, and if so I'd recommend rhinoplasty to address the width of the middle third of the nose and possibly alar base reduction to narrow the lower third. That does require reshaping of the cartilage, and that requires surgery. I don't see any way to get that kind of refinement non-surgically. Any other commentary will have to await other photos like lateral and base views.Best wishes! Harry V. Wright MD, Sarasota, Florida
