Can I have a nasal endoscopy performed 5 months post Rhinoplasty? Will this cause any damage to my nose or cause swelling, etc.?

Your nose should be mostly healed 5 months following surgery so it is unlikely to cause permanent damage.  It is possible the procedure can irritate the nose and cause temporary increased swelling. However, I recommend you discuss this with your surgeon prior to proceeding.

It is safe to undergo nasal endoscopy a few months after rhinoplasty.  It will not cause any damage to the nasal structures as it only visualizes the inside.RegardsDr. J
