I don’t know, but I think my eyelids and eyebrows are too far apart. It makes my eyes look tired. Is there surgery to correct the look or not? Please help.
Answer: I think my eyelids and eyebrows are too far apart They're not. Realself requires 100 characters so I'll keep writing to tell you that you have beautiful eyes and you unfortunately have been poisoned by a superficial culture that elevates looks over substance. Love yourself.

Answer: Subtle ptosis Subtle ptosis of the eyelids can cause you to subconsciously raise your eyebrows and this may be why you feel that your eyebrows are too far away from your eyelids. However, an in person examination will help determine if this is the case and what can be done to improved the anatomy, if anything.

Answer: Don't deal with surgeons who do not understand eyelids. The question is why are your eyebrows high? The answer is that you have an early disinsertion of the tendon that raises the upper eyelids. You have mild upper eyelid ptosis that is compensated by the elevation of the eyebrows. You don't actually think about this. There is a reflex that causes activation of the frontalis muscle. That is the muscle responsible for lifting the eyebrows. When the eyelids are heavy, the frontalis activates to help lift up the eyelids. That is a helpful mechanism but cosmetically, it is not ideal. The fix is to repair the slipping tendon inside the eyelid. This work needs to be done by a surgeon who really understands aesthetic eyelid surgery and levator surgery. As it turns out, there aren't a whole lot of us. Even though there are excellent oculoplastic surgeons in your area, you will likely still need to travel to get the surgical care you need. I recommend getting several expert opinions before committing yourself to surgery. Your eyes can be your best feature.

Answer: Attractive brows and eyes Based on this photo I do not see much of discrepancy between your brows/eyelids. You do appear to have high positioned brows but that looks very attractive on this photo?. Only on the basis of in person evaluation and discussion about your goals one could give you some options of surgical and non-surgical treatment. Good luck.
