Hello,In general, 8 weeks is typically long enough recovery and you could return to the gym. However, ask your surgeon as he/she will know if you are fully healed to return to the gym. All the best,Dr. BlaggAustin, TX
Thank you for your question. The best person to advice you will be your specific surgeon as every surgeon will have his/her own preferences as to recovery for specific procedures. Normally, patients can return to light activities almost immediately after surgery, normal activities 2 weeks after surgery, and vigorous exercise 4 weeks after surgery. We usually experience a slow steady improvement for 3 months or so after surgery.
I would say you are 8 weeks out and if you feel ready to workout go for it!You will feel better and really help maintain your results!
HelloThe recovery after a BBL could vary depending in the case and the patient. I recommend to follow the instructions given by your surgeon and if you still have doubts talk to your doctor for a consult.RegardsDr. Israel MañonCertified Plastic Surgeon

Good luck :)
