Is it necessary to get massages after a tummy tuck to drain fluid?

tattedmommy
I am going to be going to a recovery house for ten days following my tummy tuck and breast lift and it includes 4 massages. Are massages totally necessary. Isnt that what the drains are for. If i dont get massages is that going to mean im going to get really swollen and be in more pain for recovery
