Is BodyTite a good option for me? i would like to get rid of my back rolls and reduce the size of my waist (Photo)

Hi. I would like to know how many cm can I lose in my waist if I do BodyTite. I wanna lose fat but I'm afraid to try to do a lipo in the midst of covid because I'm asthmatic. I thought i could melt some fat on my back and later on on the front since there is little to no after care

BodyTite does not remove any fat, but it is capable of producing a 45% contraction in tissues. It can be combined with liposuction to improve contours dramatically. BodyTite only works well for people who are near their target weight and who have skin elastic enough to bounce back from the procedure. Results can be seen immediately after one treatment and are more evident over three to six months post-treatment. Wait until six months to fully evaluate the aesthetic results. If you maintain your target weight within 5 to 10 pounds of your goal weight, the results should last for years.

BodyTite is excellent for skin tightening. Most doctors performing BodyTite are capable of doing some liposuction at the same time since they are already in there and you are numb. There are some doctors who, for some reason perform BodyTite without learning how to do out patient liposuction. If the doctor is not going to perform Lipo, don't bother with BodyTite, you may get better results with cool sculpting.

BodyTite is usually recommended for patients who have good skin elasticity (i.e. bounce back) and are also in good physical health. This procedure involves using radiofrequency to liquefy unwanted fat so that it can be suctioned out. Therefore, a separate liposuction procedure is not necessary. What is also great about BodyTite is that it tightens the fibers under your skin so that it contracts, leaving you with an improved body contour (i.e. qualified patients do not have to worry about being left with  loose hanging skin)

Thank you for your photos, and it does appear that your a great candidate for the bodytite in the flank area. This will absolutely reduce the sides of your waist due to fat reduction. If you are second guessing a lipo procedure, you could always look into Coolsculpting as an option for a non-invasive fat reduction. Thank you for your question and accompanying photos. From what I see, you could benefit from BodyTite combined with traditional liposuction to help get rid of your love handles and prevent back rolls. Many hospitals or outpatient surgery centers are requiring COVID testing prior to your procedure, but if you are worried about contracting the virus it would be best to continue to social distance, wearing your face mask and wait until you are vaccinated.

BodyTite may decrease the appearance of the back rolls a bit but will not make them go away. BodyTite is not a fat melting procedure (by itself) so it's not really going to change your waist. BodyTite is most effective when combined with liposuction - which is realistically the procedure combination you need to achieve the results you have mentioned. As always, be sure to research who is doing your procedure to increase the chances of getting a desirable result.

You really need to liposuction the areas when ever you use bodytite.  They are done together at the same procedure and is done under local so your asthma history is probably of no real concern. Just make sure the facility is accredited and your Derm Surgeon or PS has got alot of experience and has an artistic eye. Always do the tummy and sides together otherwise you won't be as happy.

the smaller you are before liposuction the more contouring you can get from the procedure. most of my liposuction patients get pre and post surgical optimization with hormonal therapy (see link to help boost their weight loss before surgery and help them heal after).

You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best.  Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring.  Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods.  The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radio-frequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well . trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring.  This is known as a Brazilian butt lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face.  Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra.  If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty).  Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting.  Dr. Emer.
