Is BodyTite permanent? (Photo)

Question

I had liposuction done to my arms a few times and I now have loose skin. I don't want to do an arm lift so I'm now looking into BodyTite. Is it permanent and how many/where are the incisions placed? Can it be done under local anesthesia? And what's the recovery like? Thanks so much!

Yes do Bodytite and ask about combining BodyTite with Morpheus for that loose skin feeling.  The  incisions are punctures that can hide anywhere that allows ease of treatment for your surgeon.  Good job on doing your homework on cutting edge technology.  Easily done under local with just a tablet to 
 help you relax during the procedure.  Recovery is estimated to be quicker than lipo due to the heat from the treatment so wear compression sleeves and you can go to work the next day.  If you can put up with them, wear them for 2-3 weeks.  Best Wishes!!

Hello, and thank you for your question. The BodyTite results can be maintained for a long timeso long as you do not go through significant change in body weight. As we age, we losecollagen and elastin, which may lead to saggy skin. When we're young, fat in the face is evenlydistributed, with some pockets here and there that plump up the forehead, temples, cheeks, andareas around the eyes and mouth. With age, that fat loses volume, clumps up, and shiftsdownward, so features that were formerly round may sink, and skin that was smooth and tightgets loose and sags. Meanwhile other parts of the face gain fat, particularly the lower half, sowe tend to get baggy around the chin and jowly in the neck. After your BodyTite procedure, youmay need some maintenance treatment every now and then to reverse the reality of aging.

BodyTite is permanent. It may be less effective in someone with the amount of scar tissue you would have accumulated with several sessions of lipo. Your arms appear to have nice tone so it would likely help refine it further. I agree - you don't have enough extra tissue to warrant a formal arm lift. I would not personally do the procedure under local. As always, be sure to research who is doing your procedure to increase the chances of getting a desirable result.

BodyTite results are long lasting as long as you maintain your weight. Remember your body does age and your body will change with aging. There are usually only 2 micro-incisions when the arms are treated with BodyTite. One under the near the arm pit (axilla) and the other is usually near the elbow. BodyTite can absolutely be done under local anesthesia and the recovery after a BodyTite procedure for the arms is usually 3- 4 days before you can go back to work. The results are seen immediately, with the best results in about 6 months. BodyTite treats the fat while also tightening the skin.

Hence, over time, skin sagging will progress. Factors such as genetics and environmental exposure will determine the definitive longevity of your BodyTite procedure.

renivon does better. on the arms then bodytite, both are "permanent" but with aging you will get sagging no matter what. it looks as if you need more agressive VASER 360 HD lipo with renuvion and I would suggest you see an expert in athletic shaping.  see link.  
You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best.  Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring.  Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods.  The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radio-frequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well . trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring.  This is known as a Brazilian butt lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face.  Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra.  If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty).  Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting.  Dr. Emer.

It consists of a technological procedure combination of radiofrequency assisted with lipolysis (RFAL) to shape, tighten and lift without needles, incisions or scarring. BodyTite results can be seen immediately and continue to improve over 3-6 months. Downtime can be minimal depending on the treatment area.
