Can someone with HIV get breast implants?

If your friend is otherwise healthy, being HIV+ is not a contraindication for breast implants. Thank you for sharing your question.  As long as your friend's HIV is medically optimized she can still entertain a breast augmentation procedure.  For now due to the recent diagnosis I would make sure she receives appropriate counseling before pursuing surgery.  Hope this helps.

best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  As long as your cell counts are in good range and you are able to obtain medical clearance from your primary physician, then HIV is not a contraindication for a breast augmentation.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

While HIV does not preclude a patient from having surgery, a patient should communicate any medical conditions to the surgeon and Anesthesiologist. Consult with an experienced and expert board certified plastic surgeon to understand options.

Having HIV does not preclude one from having breast augmentation or any other plastic surgery. She should absolutely be forthcoming with her medical condition to her surgeon.

That is a decision each PS makes for themselves and their operative staff. Only the patient can obtain those answers NOT you.
