Do my breasts look like they sit farther down my torso than the average female? (Photo)

Thank you for your question and photos. Based on these frontal view photos, your breasts sit in a very good position on your rib cage. The breast has a "foot plate" and yours is high. Some women are low breasted, you are high breasted with the breast inframammary fold above 1/2 way up your arm. You would get a very nice results with a breast augmentation. Thank you for your question and pictures. Your inframammary fold (breast fold) and nipple position seem to sit within the normal range. I think that you would have a great outcome with an augmentation which would give your more volume and symmetry. Based on your photos, it appears that you have normal breast anatomy.  You should have a nice result with a breast augmentation procedure. Find a board-certified plastic surgeon and communicate your goals, so that you can work together to pick the right sized implant.

appear well positioned on your torso/chest.  They are not too low.  You can always discuss your concerns with your chosen surgeon and you should receive your reassurances you desire before having any cosmetic procedures.  Now if you want your nipples up higher on your body, you are changing normal to abnormal so be careful of what you desire as there are surgeon's out there that will attempt to do what you wish for.

Great question and you are very observant. Yes, you appear a bit "low breasted". Your breasts are slightly lower on your torso than average, but this normal. Augmentation does cause your lower border of your breast to drop a bit but only slightly. It is more than made up for by the increased fullness in the upper part of your breasts. With appropriate implant selection, you should have a terrific result.

You may have a little more chest height than some people, but your anatomy is not abnormal.  Breast augmentation will enhance your shape and I think you will have a very nice result. From the information you have provided and the photos, it appears that you would get a very good result from a breast augmentation.  The natural feeling gummy bear implants form Sientra would give you reasonable cleavage and a very good shape.  I have added a web link and a video that gives you more information.

Your breast position (footprint) looks pretty average to me.  I think we are so used to seeing celebs with breasts up around their neck that normal breasts like yours seem low!  I think you would do great with implants or if you want just maybe a one cup increase in size, fat transfer would be a good way to go. 

Although your may have a bit longer chest (clavicle to inframammary crease) then some, it does not seem excessive, particularly in the more accurate photo taken "straight on". You look like you are a good candidate for breast augmentation and should achieve a nice result.

Your breasts are textbook in position as the level of the inframammary crease lines up with your mid-humeral line. In other words, the lowest point of the breast is even with mid-arm point. Totally normal.
