I am 5'6" and 144lbs and I've always felt my breasts sat a little low. Almost midway down my torso! I'm worried that once I have implants they will drop even farther down and look hideous. Having my boyfriend do some home measurements (so inaccurate haha)... distance between nipples= 7.5" distance from collar bone straight down to right nipple= 7" distance from collar bone straight down to left nipple= 7.5" shoulder to shoulder= 15" nipple to waste (panty line)= approx. 10.5"
Answer: Your breasts appear well positioned on your torso/chest. They are not too low. You can always discuss your concerns with your chosen surgeon and you should receive your reassurances you desire before having any cosmetic procedures. Now if you want your nipples up higher on your body, you are changing normal to abnormal so be careful of what you desire as there are surgeon's out there that will attempt to do what you wish for.

Answer: Breast Position and Augmentation Great question and you are very observant. Yes, you appear a bit "low breasted". Your breasts are slightly lower on your torso than average, but this normal. Augmentation does cause your lower border of your breast to drop a bit but only slightly. It is more than made up for by the increased fullness in the upper part of your breasts. With appropriate implant selection, you should have a terrific result.
