Will my hard lump go away after liposuction?

I recommend following up with your Doctor to evaluate the lump to make sure it's not a seroma. There will be some swelling, which can be asymmetrical, and will last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. There are a few things that can cause these symptoms including seroma, fat necrosis, fat left behind and not liposuctioned during the procedure. I suggest you see your surgeon for a diagnosis and ask them to consider getting an ultrasound if the area is quite large. Get a diagnosis and then a treatment plane. You are not going to get your optimal result for 12-18 months following any liposuction procedure.  Compression and massage for the first six weeks help these areas.  Asymmetry, lumps and bumps are completely normal and should not cause any concern. 

I can ONLY speak for my practice. External ultrasound treatments or ThermiSmooth 250 RF sessions help, but these have a fee associated with them!
