Wonderful surgeon. Actually took the time to discuss the procedure and you can tell he is a good person. All of the staff have nothing but good things to say about him. Took time to explain everything and left me with his cellphone number so I could reach him if I have any issues.
this review is extremely long, but it’s my entire experience When you reach out to the clinic, you'll be assigned a coordinator. This person will be your point of contact until you get to the clinic. They'll ask you for some pictures and from there you'll find out what surgeon you're going to get. I got Dr Loessin. His work doing mommy makeovers is AMAZING. There were months from that initial point and I honestly feel like the communication was subpar at times. I had to re-send documents multiple times, ask questions multiple times, and the end was stressful because when my payment was due I told them I would send the wire in a few days, they canceled my surgery and it was super stressful trying to get everything back on track, as I had booked flights and the hotel by then. finally, it’s pre-op day. They tell you to be there at 8 AM, but is 8 AM for everyone else as well, So it seems like the earlier you get there the earlier you’ll be seeing regardless of the time. If you need to buy something for your surgery, remember that they only take cash, but there’s an ATM. I sat there for three hours before someone realized I need to talk to accounting Before I could continue the process. The surgeon declined to do one of the things I wanted, the fat transfer to my hips. I was fine with that, but frustrated that I had sat there so long. Every single person I spoke to, from the front desk to the nurses, were very short into the point, curt. I was bounced around quite a lot a bit before I saw the surgeon. In this place, you have to advocate for yourself and ask questions because nobody really volunteered a lot of information. Finally I met the good surgeon. I got a tummy tuck with flank liposuction, an implant exchange, and anchor lift and larger implants. I showed him a picture of what I was going for. My prior surgery with another surgeon, they put a bra on and then put different size implant in it so I could get an idea of what it would look like, but they didn’t do that here. I asked him what size implants he was thinking, and he said “we’ll have to see what size implants you have now and go from there. “ because I didn't remember the size I had. He was patient and friendly enough But there wasn’t a lot of information when it came to how the implants will be placed, and how the surgeries would be done. He looked me over physically, and that was that, it took a little more than four hours. The next day was surgery day. I went in, got changed and they asked me if I would do a video to which I agreed. The Nurse anesthesiologist came in, asked Some questions, and after that the doctor came in and marked me up. That was the last time I saw him again. After about an hour, I was wheeled into the OR. They put me to sleep before the doctor came in, and I was being observed when I woke up. I was in a lot of pain and so was everyone around me. They gave me Tylenol for it, but I caught the anesthesiologist before she left and she gave me something stronger. The young ladies that were observing us mostly sat around and ate chips and drunk soda, and chatted amongst themselves. Finally, I was wheeled out to my companion. I asked them for aftercare instructions and they told me it was in the bag. That was it for surgery day. The next day was my post-op care appointment. It was very informative and the lady was very nice, but it was a lot of rapid fire information and I wish we would’ve gotten everything written down. I got an email with instructions for breast augmentation care, but not for tummy tuck and didn’t get a response when I asked for it. The lymphatic massage was a joke. Not worth the price, maybe 15 minutes long but I plan to continue getting them when I get home. I asked the masseuse for another binder since mine was bloody from the surgery and she declined to give me one unless I paid for it. But for the most important part, my results. Although I’m only three days past my surgery, I’m extremely happy so far. I have a ton of swelling in my belly is rock hard so it will be months before I can see closer to the final results, and you've got to remember that this isn't an overnight transformation, and be easy on yourself. But there’s a reason I flew to Miami to get this done, besides the price. Everything was going to cost almost 30k in Colorado, but here it was 10k. Dr Loessin's work is stunning. I'm overall very happy. I also had to leave before I could get my drains removed, and I’ll have to get my follow up care from my local physician.
So just so we're clear here, this place is a revolving door of bodies. If you're looking for highly personalized care from a team, you're not going to get it but the results are amazing. When you reach out to the clinic, you'll be assigned a coordinator. This person will be your point of contact until you get to the clinic. I went to CG cosmetic because a family member had a procedure there and she had a good experience. I am 32, had a gastric bypass done when I was 20 years old and I’ve had 3 children. My skin was already loose and had small breasts after the GP and my dream was to do a MMO after being done having kids. I booked my procedure 2 months before, I went to my pre-op (took 2.5 hrs, as I had my labs done by my PCP). That day I met with Dr Loessin and he was very nice and pleasant, he asked me personal questions to get to know me and answered all my questions. He recommended 350cc implants. But I said 400cc and he said ok! The next day I asked him: “do you think 400cc would look like an exaggeration in my body?” And he gave me an honest answer: yes, because you are small, if you want them to look bigger maybe do 375cc. I was happy and we went with that, it was pleasing to hear an honest advice and not a doctor that just does whatever the patient says. The procedure took 2 hours. I am still very swollen, but I want to say that I cried the day I took this picture in bathing suit, it was a dream that I thought would never come true but it is here now and I am very pleased. Dr Loessins work is amazing. The only thing is that at CG you are kind of left to do research and educate yourself on your own, but if you ask questions and reach out they’ll gladly answer.
I have been planning a tummy tuck ever since using my first child. I researched many surgeons and looked at a lot of before and afters when deciding to pull the trigger. I decided to do it in florida because of how impressed I was with this surgeons post op for TT. I booked in august 2023, and my surgery was on November 28, 2023 in Miami Florida. (That's today btw!) I have a very large pain tolerance, and I believe that is definitely helping the situation. My pain is moderated with OTC pain meds (no narcotics) I feel absolutely incredible . And although you del lol your in a factory assembly line on pre op- the surgery day goes by very quickly. Dr loessin spoke to me for only a minute but I had my questions all answered and I was ready to pocero w my procedure. I'm amazed at the results. I'm not going to lie- I was expecting the worst just so I could be happy with my results regardless. But he did not disappoint. He was able to take the majority of the stretch marked skin, and I am still Able to straighten out most the way already. My privately rented RN was amazed at how nice of a on he did, how little pain I had, and the quickness of the surgery. I have some pictures I'd like to share
Dr. Loessin was absolutely incredible. From the moment i met him i was very comfortable and felt positive about my procedure. He had a great aura and a happy face that made me smile. After my operation I was even more satisfied with my results. I wish i would have done this when i was younger. The only issue i had was certainly not with him or his work but by the post opp Dr. I feel she should be fired!!! On my one week post opp visit, I told her i had a full drain before i left the house and by the time i got there it was almost full again. She still insisted on removing my drains. Now i have so much fluid in my belly. Its extremely uncomfortable and I feel that she ruined the beautiful work of my Dr. I have to travel to remove the fluid so its a big problem for me. I really feel as if the Dr. should have a serious review over the post opp office. Im hoping i can come there and possibly be reopened and have a drain re inserted because now i have a buldgy belly and its not fair to me or the dr's work.
First of all, you will never see the personalized care at a surgery clinic like CG versus a private practice. I think some people have an unrealistic expectation of what having surgery at a clinic like this really looks like. Second…this is going to be long, because when I was searching and researching I wanted to hear EVERYTHING. The good and the bad. I wanted details, not just miserable whining without an explanation, so I’ll do my best here to be thorough. Third…I gave CG four stars because of their general practice, not for my surgeon’s work, which to me is fantastic! I went in expecting to not be impressed with the pre-op process and I was not disappointed. The clinic is a revolving door of bodies. The clinic staff was pleasant enough, but not super warm or welcoming. I felt like a number the entire time I dealt with the staff and clinic. Their communication is horrible. Do not expect timely responses to your calls or emails or texts, if you get them at all. Expect them to be chattering away to each other, and rushing you through the pre-op steps like your cattle. Again, I fully expected this so I was not shocked or surprised. I highly recommend you get to Miami the day before your pre-op and get to the clinic as early as possible. It’s a first come, first serve situation. I got there just as they opened the doors and I was out of there in less than two hours. I have heard stories of dolls getting in later after their flights and waiting all day for their pre-op appt. They’ll tell you it’s at 8am, but it’s at 8am for everyone else too, so you want to be signed in early. You cannot have anyone with you and they don’t want your luggage there either. Bring water and snacks if you get there late. They do have a vending machine. Pre-op consisted of buying your post-op supplies (cash only), signing paperwork, Covid test, and photos. I wasn’t really prepared for this when the girl preparing my paperwork to sign without so much as a smile ordered me to get naked in her tiny closet of an office. Just like that…remove all your clothing…and out came the a camera. No gown, no robe, just me standing against the door with my pants around my ankles and a little bit shocked. After that Dr. Loessin came in for a meet n greet and to discuss the surgery and answer any questions. Pleasant man, not overly friendly but made eye contact, smiled, and I did feel he was listening/engaged. Surgery day, you go to a completely different side of the same building. They didn’t tell me that I ended up standing outside at 630am panicking a little because the main office was closed. Upset that bit of information was missed, but whatever, they called me and I found it. Have your companion with you, it’s required so they know you have one and to give them your prescriptions to pick up. Immediately before surgery they put me in a little room with a bed in it, in did my drug test and they started my IV. The anesthesiologist came in, he was very nice and friendly. Dr. Loessin came in and marked me up. Answered my last minute questions then it was time to go! Everyone was nice and friendly in the OR. Next thing I know I’m waking up. I get nauseous and anesthesia kindly gave me more nausea medicine but they are not trying to have you camp out, lol! As soon as I stopped throwing up they were getting me dressed and putting me in a wheelchair. They wheeled me out to my partner who they had already called, helped me into the car, and that was that! The post-op appointments were laughable. I’m an RN of 19+ years and they did nothing during post-op that made me feel it was worth the time and energy to be there. I know they need to check for complications but it was literally a 5 minute exam after waiting in the waiting area for an hour. They do postop like they do preop, the tiny waiting room is full of dolls and they just call you when they call you, doesn’t matter what time you appt was for. You do not see the doctor ever again, it was a nurse practitioner. The massages were even worse, I had to sit up while in fresh surgical pain and discomfort and this lady rubbed her hands on my stomach for about 15 minutes and that was it. I was not happy I paid for that. I later found a massage place and had real lymphatic massage while laid back and it was SO much better! NOW ALL OF THAT BEING SAID…..Dr. Loessin owes me NOTHING!!! I am so pleased with my results, just over the moon THRILLED. My breasts before were so heavy and pendulous that I had permanent dents in my shoulders. I could never go braless because it was so uncomfortable to have them hanging. Dr. Loessin asked me what I wanted and I said I didn’t want small breasts, I wanted to try and retain as much volume as possible, and I was worried I would lose fullness on top and they wouldn’t be perky. Well…. The man delivered! I am a full D/DD and they are so perky and well shaped! I don’t have to wear a bra once I fully heal if I don’t want to!!! I’m in love with them and the breasts were my biggest concern! The rest speaks for itself in the pictures. I am beyond thrilled with my stomach, belly button, everything. Overall, my experience at CG was positive, and I would go back and do it again.
I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair on 5/30/23. Everything went very well and pain was minimal due to the oxy medication. I am 2 weeks post op today and seeing results daily. I would like to share some good things I did during my recovery and some terrible things I’ve done in an effort to help someone else. What NOT to do: 1. By day 7 post op, I was feeling pretty good so I drove myself to an appointment, cleaned a little, and cooked for my family. BIG MISTAKE! That night I began bleeding more in my drains when prior to that, bleeding had slowed down. I also felt very faint and experienced more pain that evening. REST, REST, REST! 2. I removed my incision tape on my own versus giving it an opportunity to fall off. It was still very secure by day 9 when I removed it. My incision line was GORGEOUS that night, but then it started opening some superficially because I took it off too soon. DO NOT REMOVE YOUR TAPE! I know now that it’s there ti maintain proper tension ensuring a nice thin scar. What I did right: 1. I began lymphatic massages 2 days after surgery and continue to do them! I started out doing 3 a week. Now I’m down to one a week. I know that it has helped in my healing. 2. I purchased healfast on Amazon and did both the preop and post op faithfully. I truly believe it made a difference. 3. Not pooping after surgery? Do a concoction of 8oz of prune juice mixed with about 2 tbsp of milk of magnesium. Warm it up and drink. You will go within 30 min-12 hrs. 4. I began listening to my body and resting. I also retaped my incision and left it alone. That’s when it began healing. I am still healing, but so far so good.
CG Cosmetics is the worst in customer service. I experienced them fast talking me to get my money, lost paperwork, no social distancing, changed surgery time the day of surgery, they barely speak English, they do not respond to emails or calls, the building looks sketch. They almost gave me faulty drip bag for my anesthesia and the anesthesiologist had to go off of the assistant for it as well as the surgical tech in the operating room who did something wrong (I was out of it) and he told her to move!!! Dr. Loessin came in, said "I'm the doctor, marked my body and said that I was next. I had to stop him so that he could answer my questions about my tt, lipo and muscletightening. I only saw him for 5 mins or less the entire time I was there. I requested him and they said I couldn't see him unless it was an emergency.... Fast forward...After my surgery I my arms, toes, tongue and hands were numb... I was instructed to get the massages and I got 6 one a day and the drains were take out at day 7. I had about 27cc on the right and 17 cc on the left and they said the drains were ok to be removed.I have emailed them and no response. I will try again next week... Were the drains taken out to soon?I think my bellybutton is infected. It has yellowish like sticky stuff around it and when I squeeze it fluid that red and yellow is come from it. (Picture attached)I have a stick coming out of the left side of my stomach. What do I need to do? (Picture attached)I'm Leaking fluid from where the drain was on my left side. ( pic attached)The fluid is the yellow and red mix just like it was in the bulb of the drain. Its hard and lumpy around my incision and it looks like a tire or muffin top.I have fluid down the center of my stomach when I touch it its like a water balloon. Why is it soft in the middle of my stomach filled with fluids and hard around my incision? Updated on 14 Dec 2020: Dr Loessin called me and told me to come see him. My belly button, incision and the drainage looks better. I still have fluid and lumps and this is what he will be addressing at my visit with him. I'm happy that she gets to see me and was very nice and understanding. Will send updated pictures after my visit with him. I feel and look a lot better. It's a process.
I've been doing research since my first procedure done in DR with dr. Disla. She did a great job but after lipo of abdomen for a BBL my skin over belly button was an issue for me due to my skin not tightening up. So now with this new procedure of J-Plasma I'm going to try and see if it works because tummy tuck is not an option for me I fall in between not bad enough for a tummy tuck and not enough for lipo. I will be updating while I go through this because not enough info is given on J-Plasma (renuvion). Updated on 7 Dec 2020: I’ve also decided to switch out my implants due to not having one drop . They mentioned they can fix it so total for both will be 8500.00 Updated on 12 Dec 2020: I had my consultation in person with CG cosmetics and spoke with my coordinator she was really nice and explained to me that I was a great candidate for renuvion on my abdomen and that they can also fix the problem I had with my implant ( one never dropped) so I had to pay in full due to the fact that my surgery is like 3 weeks away and I’m so excited!! Updated on 29 Dec 2020: So excited for my surgery I am one week out and having my medical clearance done tomorrow and my recovery house is all set . They said I don’t need to bring anything I booked a private room with everything included will include pic of the House Updated on 29 Dec 2020: They include everything which is good and won’t have to worry about forgetting something Updated on 5 Jan 2021: My surgery time was set for 8pm!!! I have never had surgery nor heard of it being so late but here I am about to get my j plasma on my abdomen and get new implants in Updated on 6 Jan 2021: My surgery was scheduled for Jan 5 at 8pm went actually under at 9:30 and was out by 11:30pm was feeling pain on my incisions under my breast almost like a burning sensation and my breast felt like when I am about to get my period like an uncomfortable feeling so I took a oxycodene pill at 12 am at about 2 am my pain on incisions were gone which was the most painful and I haven’t taken anymore I feel good I’m up at about 8am walking around no pain in breast I can actually lift my arms also my abdomen was done with j plasma(renuvion) not sure what this looks like because the garment is on but when I take it off I will update also implants went from mentor 385cc to 400cc gummy HP Updated on 6 Jan 2021: Follow up visit next day after surgery very swollen Updated on 6 Jan 2021: I was told I was getting HP 400cc but was actually given 415cc smooth round full profile not sure why because in your follow up appt I see a coordinator and not the actual doctor Updated on 11 Jan 2021: Still swollen and bruised Updated on 14 Jan 2021: Updated on 16 Feb 2021: Wouldn’t waste my money on renuvion seems like I have the same abdomen . I would just recommend liposuction
Thank you for your question, It appears that you need a revision of your ear lobe scar. This should be a simple process. Be sure after your procedure that you use a medical grade (Silagen) scar cream.
Thanks for your question: After looking at your photos, I would recommend a full tummy tuck. A mini tummy tuck is not going to give you the results your looking for, and with liposuction it will get rid of the excess fat your exhibiting. I would definitely recommend Consulting with a few Board Certified Plastic Surgeons before making your decision.
Thank you for your question! I recommend my patients wear a surgical bra following surgery for up to 6 weeks. It will help with the swelling you have following the procedure.
Yes, Botox would be great option for your crows feet. Botox is known to reduce wrinkles around the eyes.
Thank you for your question, Age shouldn't be a factor in considering a tummy tuck procedure. As long as you are in good health and a good candidate for it. I would recommend a medical clearance as well as an EKG prior to having this procedure performed.
