I have been performing buttock implants for nearly 15 years now and in my surgical practice, the infection rate has been minimized to <2% (much lower than and contrary to popular belief by many other surgeons not experienced in buttock implants). Additionally, all other potential complication rates are similar to breast implants...except that buttock implants are permanent and the capsular contracture rate is less than 1/4 that for breast implants. Without knowing these dimensions it would be difficult to make this determination. For example, the existing base width of your buttock will determine, in many cases, the maximal volume per implant profile that you can accommodate. Liposuction of your lower back and fat transfer is also helpful as an adjunct to implants. Using “want to be” photos however are useful if simply provided to the surgeon.
I have very few complications with patients after 3 months post op for buttock implants. Usually, if there is an issue its within the first few months of recovery. This is rare as long you follow post operative instructions and avoid heavy physical activity until full recovery.

Only solid silicone implants may be used in the US legally but they will still soften significantly. I would give it at least 3 months to soften. Good luck!
Your buttock implants are rather large. This is why they feel heavy. Wearing a compression garment can support the implant but ulimately they will continue to feel heavy and uncomfortable. They look good though.
