Breast lift with implants- very bruised, and dark around aerial. Is this infected? 9 days post op. (photos)

Based on your pictures it does not looks like you have an infection it just looks a little irritated , keep it dry and do not apply any ointments, follow up with your PS to discuss your concerns.

One of the complications of breast lift surgery with implants is possible interruption of the blood supply to the nipple.  You may be experiencing this issue.  Notify your plastic surgeon as soon as possible.

Bruising and swelling of the tissues is normal after the procedure you had done.  I recommend keeping in contact with your surgeon to discuss concerns that you have.  Signs of infection include redness, increased pain, tenderness and swelling of affected area, and fever.  Your surgeon will guide you through the recovery process.
