These are before and after pictures I'm not very happy with results he said I was over weight. I am also a mom of 5 my bmi was like 27 i am 5 foot 6 inch and 175 lbs i just feel super unhappy with results and to pay 6k more when I have a friend whom seen a dr in miami same size as me her booty looks amazing and I see mine and just cry

I appreciate your questions! Three days is too short of a time to assess your final BBL outcome. Maximum results would take up to six months to show. I would suggest waiting at least 4 more weeks for the swelling to recede and evaluate the results. If you are still dissatisfied with the outcome, consult with your aesthetic plastic surgeon about your concerns and improvements’ options. There may be a percentage of fat that does not take, which is why touchup procedures are sometimes necessary. Hope this is helpful! Dr. De La Cruz.

It is impossible to judge result after any procedure so early. It takes at least 6 months before real result of liposuction and fat transfer is revealed. In a period of 5-8 months patient is expected to loose around 50% of injected fat volume. I would encourage you to follow recommended schedule regarding postoperative massage, garment, diet, activity and stay patient for few more months. Good luck.

I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a BBL surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively.At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides  you will be able to see the final result of your surgery.

Hello and thank you for your surgery. It is normal to be worried early in the post-operative period as you have invested time, money and trust to seek improvement. Make sure to relay your concerns to your surgeon and follow their exact directions. A lot of times people look worse initially before they see changes because the inflammation is severe and there is a lot of swelling and it is hard to see the final result.  Based on how typical wound healing occurs and the inflammatory process is modulated, you can expect to see a better glimpse of your final silhouette at 3-6 months after surgery. Congratulations on your recent
surgery!
The operative result is not yet
apparent as there are multiple factors at work. Inflammatory swelling will
totally obscure the size and configuration of the buttocks. Also, the skin
and soft tissues must adjust and reshape to accommodate the added volume
beneath. 60-80% of swelling will resolve over the
first 6 weeks, with the remainder abating over 6-12 months. It is FAR too
early to assess the operative result.
Follow the advice of your surgeon

You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation is normal.

I tell each and everyone of my patients to not look in the mirror with in the first month of having this procedure.  I told them doing so well just make them upset.  Of course everybody does but hopefully they will remember my words so they have some reassurance as they go through this at times frustrating period. Six weeks is a good time frame to get a sneak preview. My experience has been patients who are happy with the results at six weeks will love the results at three months. 3 days is FAR too soon to be worried about what your final outcome will look like. Your body still has a lot of healing to do. Give it about 3 months, and make sure you follow all the post-operative protocols given to you by your surgeon.

Hi andwelcome to our forum!Congratulationson your recent procedure...The procedure of liposuction is an"insult" to the soft tissues, resulting in swelling which willinitially totally obscure the operative result. Thepurpose of a compression garment is to prevent bleeding and to controlswelling. We usually recommend its use for the first 4-6 weeks after theprocedure. 60-80%of the swelling should subside within the first 6 weeks, with the remainderslowly subsiding over 6-12 months. In addition, the overlying skin must readjust to accept the changes in underlying volume. This will take at least several months.In brief, it is far, far too early to assess the postoperative result.
