Hi and thank you for your question. There are many options for fillers throughout the face and you'll find each provider prefers different things. I find that your own fat is always the best filler for any part of the face but obviously obtaining it is more invasive than anything coming from a syringe. In my own practice I prefer the use of Sculptra which i feel gives a more lasting result. I have had a very high patient satisfaction with this product. Best of luck going forward!
In our practice, we too use soft tissue fillers like Radiesse for lifting the brow, filling out the temples, and making the face appear more youthful. Sculptra is a good alternative if Radiesse is not giving you the improvement you're looking for. I suggest getting a formal consultation with a cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. Different injectors prefer different products for various reasons. There is no one product that outshines the others. For the reasons you speak about in terms of longevity, I prefer Juvederm Voluma in this area as I think it lasts the longest. Discuss your options with your injector.Hope this helps!Dallas R. Hi, thank you for he inquiry. Every injector has a different preference.I typically recommend injecting the temples with a thicker hyaluronic acid based filler. Everyone holds on to filler differently as well. Their life depends upon many factors including your body metabolism, concentration and type of filler injected. Usually they last from 12 to 18 months. I would recommend you to have in person consult with an experienced injector for further evaluation. Best Regards,Dr. Neel Bector
Sculptra is a great option for the temples. In my office we typically recommend two vials her session for a total of 3 sessions. If you are looking to only add volume to the temple area you may not need that amount and may be satisfied with the results that come from 1 vial for three sessions. Sculptra was designed to treat lipoatrophy (fat loss) specifically in the face. Sculptra uses poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible synthetic substance that stimulates collagen production and helps reverse the appearance of fat loss in the face giving a more youthful look.
Hi, Great question! Correction of deflated temples with fillers is an off label treatment. This means that currently, there are no fillers that are FDA approved for the temples. Having said that, every injector who performs this treatment, has her own preference of filler and injection technique. My preference is to inject Juvederm Ultra Plus deep on the bone for lasting effect. This is one of the most hydrophilic fillers available. This means that little product goes a long way and the results in the temples tend to last between 12-24 months. Temple correction done well is a very satisfying treatment. Best of luck to you, Dr. Monica Bonakdar
Thank you for your message! Every injector and every office have a different preference. Our office typically recommends injecting the temples with a thicker hyaluronic acid based filler, such as Voluma. Everyone holds on to filler differently as well!
In general, the best fillers for temples and hands as well as the face, breast anf the buttocks is the person's own fat. Fat grafting in the hands of proficient plastic surgeon results in natural and permanent results. Good luck from New York City
Hands down the best filler for this area is Bellafill. It is a 5 to 10 year filler that probably will last even longer in this area! I always like to do a “dress rehearsal” with patients who are new to filler, with a shorter acting filler-such as Lyft or radiesse. The best thing about Bellafill is that you can do it gradually, in stages, to get to the final correction with out losing the effect of the initial injections. It really does last so make sure you go to an injector who has been trained specifically in the use of Bellafill.Best of luck to you, Dr. Amy
HiI love Voluma for the temples. I have not even tried other product there. Temple injections, when indicated can be one of the more rewarding and natural injections. Voluma is one of the more expensive products but in my opinion worth it. Temple area often will last longer then most areas.Good luck
Hi, thank you for the inquiry. I would recommend HA dermal fillers for mid face uplift that can give better facial symmetry. For chin reduction, surgery can be a good option but its invasive and not cost friendly. I would recommend you to have in person consultation with a reputable injector...
At just three days after your tear trough filler appointment, it’s too early to tell what your final results will look like, as you’re still experiencing some swelling. It can take up to two weeks for all swelling to subside and for the product to settle into place. I would recommend giving it ...
Hi, thank you for the inquiry. It would have been more easier to comment after evaluating your pictures. Dermal filler/ botox combination can be used to uplift, enhance and tighten the forehead. Botox can help with wrinkling and filler can replace the lost volume. I would...
