Hello im having surgery at the end of this month and im not really sure about the size im choosing. Im 5'7 , 135-140 lbr and 36A i have no boobs . Is 375cc silicone too big or too small for me . ? I would like to be a C . Help please

Based on the information you have given, a 375cc I'm plant certainly is not unreasonable . However there are a number of factors to consider , such as the looseness of your skin( if you have been pregnant, your breast will more readily accommodate a larger implant). Discuss your desired size, and your concerns and rely on his judgement.

Based on your height and weight, and considering your description of being "flat chested", it seems to me that the 375 cc size implants you mention will not be too big for your frame, and may indeed give you a C cup size.  However, the degree of looseness of your breast skin is a factor.  If the your skin is quite tight than the larger implants might be more uncomfortable and also create thinning and stretching of your breast skin over time.  In addition to the size, you should also consider the "profile" or projection and width of the implants.  For the same size, higher profile implants are more narrow and project more, while lower profile implants are wider, but project less.  Generally speaking, by keeping the implant width within or close to your present breast width, the new breast will look more natural.  But it all depends on what your goal is and what will make you happy.

Thank you for your questions.  First, please know that it is nearly impossible to predict cup size prior to surgery.  Second, without photos or more importantly, an in-person evaluation, it is also nearly impossible to tell you what would be best for you.  What you can do, however, is be sure that the surgeon you have chosen is board certified in plastic surgery and is fully aware of your realistic goals and expectations. Dear Ali,  Front and side view pictures would have been very helpful. Be it as it may, if you are totally flat chested, meaning, that you will need to increase your breasts by 3 cup sizes, in order to become 36 C cup, you will need implants with a volume of 525 cc. If you have some breasts tissue, the volume should be around 475 cc .  The implants size that you asked about - 375 cc, will increase your breasts size to a B cup only. For a 5'7 lady, that might be on the small side unless you are a runner, in which case this is the ideal size.   Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent , attractive and natural looking.Also, check the 'realself' reviews for positive experience reports. Hard to answer without photos or an in person exam. Remember to choose a board certified plastic surgeon who actually takes the time to measure you and examine your breast pocket. The goal of breast augmentation is to optimally fill your breast pocket, not to overstuff or understuff it. At my practice, we utilize a series of 5 breast measurements that help me determine the implant size, which in turn helps me deliver a 24 hour recovery. Do your research and choose a surgeon who takes the time to sit down with you and discuss your goals/expectations and the best implant size for you. Good luck!

Without seeing you in person, it is truly impossible to say, but I would suggest that instead of focusing on cup size, which can vary greatly between bra manufacturers, focus on how you want to look. Also, why not "try out" the 375cc. If your surgeon doesn't have gel inserts, do the at home rice method (1oz rice = 30 cc breast volume, place in ziplock bags, put in your bra). Best, Dr. Nazarian

I stress with most patients, the choosing of implants is a very crucial and is
one that should be done through an in-person exam.  Various aspects could
affect the choice of implants like breast tissue, body measurements, desired
end result and the like.  Bra sizes also differ from one manufacturer to
