Is it dangerous to take clen a few weeks before opperation?

Hi, I'm having a breast augmentation end of January and have currently been taking clenbutetol for weight loss. Will it be dangerous for me to go under the knife with this in my system ?

I would stop clenbuterol prior to surgery and would not restart it.  It is not approved in the United States.  There are many other better safer weight loss options.  Good luck!

This drug is not approved in the USA. There are side effects that can render anesthesia more risky than necessary -  bronchospasm, high blood pressure, rapid heart rate.  Best to stop taking it as soon as possible.

The best way to assess and give
true advice would be an in-person exam.

That's why it's not legal in the US!  It can have serious effects on both your heart and lungs.  Stop taking it now.  Unfortunately, there is no magic pill for weight loss.  90% of weight loss is in what you eat.

Clenbuterol is not an approved medication in the United States.   It is a powerful drug for asthma.   Would recommend stopping it immediately and discuss the medication with your plastic surgeon and anesthesia provider.

You already know that Clenbuterol is unapproved and is obtained illegally and is often actually from a veterinary source. Stop it before surgery. How long is up to your surgeon/anesthesia provider. I would have my patient stop two full weeks minimum.
