Is it safe to have Aveli done more than once? How long should one wait before having another session done?

Aveli is a procedure that correct cellulite effectively. Occasionally, when the areas of cellulite are very large or very deep it can be repeated and will achieve greater improvement. This is different than the older procedure for cellulite known as cellulaze which caused a large amount of scar tissue formation underneath the skin making repeat treatments ineffective

Jeanna, Thank you for your question. Aveli is a low risk minimally invasive treatment for cellulite. Aveli is usually a one time procedure, however there are instances when it may be done more than once. If there are a great many clusters of cellulite dimples that can be treated close together, it is best to not get them all treated at once. Or if there are so many dimples that you may exceed the limit of local anesthetic, it is advisable to have two treatments.
