It's fatter on the left side than on the right and I really don't like how it looks it makes me feel insecure. How can it be fixed?
Answer: Asymmetric nose surgery Yes, from the looks of the photo, the cartilage on the left side of your nose is more prominent. This can be corrected by re-structuring or re-positioning the cartilage and/or correcting a septal deviation which may be pushing it over to that side.

Answer: My nose on the left side is bigger than my right side. Can it be fixed? Dear Atwater The difference between the two sides of your nose can be significantly improved with a rhinoplasty. This would likely entail an outpatient procedure with a 2 week downtime. If there is a septal deviation and breathing difficulty involved, both the inside and outside can be repaired at the same time, otherwise, just the outside can be reshaped. Look for an experienced surgeon who is certified by the American Board of Plastic surgery (or Facial). See more than one consultation so you can make a well informed decision.

Answer: My nose on the left side is bigger than my right side. Can it be fixed? The nasal area that you dislike and would like improved can be addressed with an artistically performed natural appearing nasal surgery (rhinoplasty) and possible septoplasty.Keep in mind that following the advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you what to do based on a limited two dimensional photo without examining you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of each operative procedure would not be in your best interest. I would suggest you find a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) or facial plastic surgeon (ENT) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person.Robert Singer, MD FACSLa Jolla, California

Answer: Rhinoplasty for asymmetrical tip A rhinoplasty procedure can address the asymmetrical tip. The excess cartilage can be removed on the convex side, and sometimes a cartilaginous graft is applied to the concave side.
