Undergoing septo and rhino together. Was told that rhino will take 30 mins. Is this right? Seems like it should take longer.

When a surgeon gives a time estimate it is just an average time frame. Thus you were told 2 to 21/2 hrs as the average. Therefore 4 hrs would be the possible time at its longest. 

 A septoplasty and a rhinoplasty are 2 completely separate procedures, but both can be performed at the same time under one anesthesia with one  recovery period. The rhinoplasty procedure  is much more complicated than a septoplasty procedure.  In our practice,  a septoplasty  takes less than 30 minutes,  while rhinoplasty will be one to one  and a half hours.  Since rhinoplasty is the hardest operation to perform in the entire field of cosmetic surgery, choose your rhinoplasty surgeon based on extensive experience.
