I want this stomach gone. I haven’t been successful in moving it for 2 years. It interferes with bending over to touch my toes. I canning even do a Yoga class comfortably. I stopped smoking 7 months ago. I am also post menopausal. Otherwise I’m very well and want a tummy tuck, maybe lipo and maybe a mons lift if needed.

Your are an excellent candidate for a tummy tuck. The technique I recommend is abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight.

Thank you for your questions and photos. From your photos, you are a good candidate for a tummy tuck with liposuction. A tummy tuck will address excess skin & repair of the abdominal muscle. The abdominal wall can be weakened after pregnancy and (or) significant weight gain & loss. By repairing the muscle, not only does the appearance of your abdominal area improve, but your core strength as well. The repair of the muscle will cinch your waist like an inner corset, which will accentuate your curves. Liposuction will remove excess fat from unwanted areas with some skin retraction. Your expectations and health will dictate the best procedure(s) for you. I suggest a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to go over the options that best address your goals. based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

From your photos it appears you are a candidate for a tummy tuck with liposuction for contouring.  This will address subcutaneous fat as well as correct abdominal wall laxity.  It cannot address visceral fat, which is the internal fat behind your abdominal wall.  This can only be addressed through weight loss.  See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.

I see no reason why you can’t have a tummy tuck.

Cigarette smoking or a history of heavy cigarette smoking increases complication risks significantly for this procedure and that is something you should talk to your plastic surgeon about.

Otherwise I suggest scheduling a few in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons. You will need to consider the impact on your tattoo from this procedure.

Based on your photos, you are a perfect candidate for tummy tuck as long as you are not having any plan to get pregnant.
