Can you get permanent asymmetry/muscle atrophy from Dysport?

I had botched dysport about 6 months ago. A Cosmetic nurse put 5 units of dysport in the left side of my chin to help a pull of the left side of my mouth (to correct asymmetry) but it froze that half of my chin. I went back for her to correct it and she put 5 units in the other side. The whole right lower half of my face stopped moving, I couldn’t move my bottom lip on that side. 6 months later I still have asymmetry and my face hasn’t returned to normal. Not sure what to do about it.

I'm sorry to hear of the symptoms you've been experiencing. There is not a minimum amount of time recommended between Dysport treatments. Typically patients will return for further treatment when they begin to notice the effects from the previous treatment are wearing off. This is generally...
I would wait until the ear infection has subsided before getting the treatment. Although there are no studies performed of patients with illness undergoing Dysport, if is better to wait.
