I've been doing chin filler almost every year to address my weak chin. I'm keen to do a chin implant but I was told I do not need to dissolve my fillers. This really confuses me as I'm unsure what the implant and fillers would look. Note: y last filler treatment is a year ago. M
Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Chin filler Our recommendations, especially if we did not place the filler, would be to dissolve the filler prior to surgery. This allows us to pick the chin most appropriate for your profile. It is not an absolute contraindication, so discussion with your treating provider is recommended.

Answer: What you should know about chin implants Thank you for your question. It would be best to have the filler dissolved prior to chin implant surgery in order to select the correct size and shape for your face. If the filler is currently augmenting your chin, the result of your implant may change as the filler re-absorbs. Hyaluronic acid fillers are easy to dissolve with the injection of an enzyme called hyaluronidase, which can be administered prior to your surgery for optimal results. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon. They will be able to review your injection history, discuss your concerns and aesthetic goals with you, and determine the best approach.

Answer: Chin İmplant Hello! Thank you for question.Could you please tell me which chin filler are you getting?During the chin implant surgery (under general anesthesia) it is possible to dissolve your fillers. Of course it would be better if you can do it before the surgery. A chin implant can be inserted while you still have fillers but it really depends on your case. That is why you can get a more appropriate evaluation after a face-to-face consultation. If you can provide some photos it would even help us a lot to give an opinion.Best regards!

Answer: Chin implant Most HA fillers are resorbed in a year and if there is any remaining filler it is likely not clinically relevant. Of course, it can depend on the amount of syringes that were injected. If you are uncomfortable moving forward with the surgery, wait another six months.
