Silicone based chin implants are extremely safe and have been FDA approved for over 50 years. Unlike breast implants they do not have any of the problems like capsular contracture, migration or have to be replaced. I love using an internal incision so there's no external scar. The simplest surgery for this problem is chin augmentation with an implant. Once the swelling has worn off (1-1.5 years after), you can reassess the need for lip reduction.
