Can I consult with different surgeons this early (2 months post-op)?

I am 2 months post op and my surgeon has confirmed my suspicions that I will require revision surgery. He said he would like to wait 1 more month, then arrange it sometime after 3 months post op. After my experience I do not feel confident having revision under the same surgeon. I understand revision is usually not possible until 6-12 months post op, but if I contacted new surgeons at this stage for a consultation would they discuss my options for future revision/give me a second opinion?

Answer: How soon can breast implant revision surgery be performed?
A board-certified plastic surgeon is qualified to address your issues. Board-certified plastic surgeons have spent years of training and have the top level of experience and skill. Seek out a board-certified plastic surgeon for your cosmetic needs.
An examination is needed to see if anything can be done. Typically, once the implants and capsules are removed, scar tissue forms and tightens the open area where the implants were.
I would suggest discussing this with your surgeon. Typically, more is added to the expander to give the implant a little more room, unless textured anatomical implants are used.
