Can I consult with different surgeons this early (2 months post-op)?

Thank you for your question. I’m sorry to hear about your unsuccessful surgery. In the case of cosmetic issues, such as problems with the size of your implants, it is wise to wait a minimum of three to six months before pursuing breast implant revision. Swelling takes time to subside and your implants need time to settle as well and minimum of 3 months is required. However, you can definitely arrange a consultation with a surgeon at this time. finding the right Dr. is extremely challenging especially with the number of online platforms and resources available. There a lot of great Dr's available. Make sure he/she is a board-certified plastic surgeon. Definitely check to make sure your choice specializes in the procedure you want and spend the time to read through patient testimonials. There is a number of different sites where you can check for reviews (Realself, yelp, google, etc.).You can always pick up the phone and call around also, find an office you feel comfortable with and set up a few consultations.

Most will want the tissues healed and settled down before doing a revision unless it is something fairly minor. Go ahead and visit with another surgeon and get a second opinion if you want.

You should certainly go for a second opinion just to give you some piece of mind. Photos would have helped in giving you more accurate advise.
