Although the photo doesn't depict a pronounced case of symmastia, corrective measures are still necessary to establish a safe distance between the implant pockets by suturing the medial space rather than excising tissue. Alternatively, one may opt to replace the implant above the pectoralis major muscle with a new one situated beneath the muscle. To forestall the likelihood of symmastia recurring post-surgery, it is best to avoid wearing bras that push both breasts together.

I don’t think you have synmastia. It’s quite rare. Your implants are close together. Some women like it that way. However one implant is higher and you might need a revision to lower the implant

Thank you for your question. If the appearance of your breast bother you, and you want to create more of a separation, and the treatment is to stitch the skin down to the chest wall. In conjunction with this he would benefit from smaller, less wide implants as well. Good luck.

You might want to go with a smaller implant and a lower profile to put less stress on your tissue near the sternum. Your surgeon could also try to stitch down that area as well.
