Hi, looks like you have a little of a pinched nose, and a bulbous tip, as well as a hanging columella (the middle part). I would wait a year and a half after your first surgery and have a secondary rhinoplasty to work specifically on the tip, and trip and rebend the cartilage to change this appearence.
Only on the basis of in person evaluation, an experienced, board certified plastic surgeon, expert in rhinoplasty, would give you good advise. Your deformity seem to be subtle and photos do not reveal enough for good evaluation. Good luck.
I think that you would do well with a pretty basic rhinoplasty. It can be done open or closed. The most important decision you can make will be the surgeon you choose so go on more than one consult to compare recommendations.
Rhinoplasty and the nasal tip: A rhinoplasty frequently involves defining the nasal tip , elevating a drooping tip, or a hanging Columella, and in some cases involves narrowing wide nostrils. Which of these apply to you could be determined in consultation with a plastic surgeon.
I love when patients are interested in the front view instead of just the profile. To answer your question, yes a Rhinoplasty can address all of those concerns. It appears that you have thicker skin, which may limit the amount of definition we can achieve, but does not limit the ability to correct the heavy infratip lobule/hanging columella which is causing the appearance of a droopy tip.I would recommend an in person consultation with a Facial Plastic Surgeon or Plastic Surgeon who specialized in Rhinoplasty so a full nasal assessment can be done and treatment plan developed. Thank you for your question and photos :)Rosa B. Lipin, MD
Hi and welcome to our forum! From your photos, I note that there is a droop of the nasal tp with prominence of the nasal columella. The nasal tip is broad and rounded. The nasal bridge is slightly high.A "light reflex" is the name given to the reflection of light from the nasal bridge in a photograph with direct lighting. Your "light reflex" suggests nasal bone displacement as it is not a straight line.If you only wish to correct the tip, a tip rhinoplasty will elevate the tip, add tip definition, and thin the columella. Nostril size can be reduced with wedge excisions at the nostril base. If there is displacement of the nasal bones, a full rhinoplasty would be required.Visit a board certified plastic surgeon for evaluation, examination, and discussion.Best wishes...
