Answer: Tummy tuck results Dear Imaginative152960, I understand your concern. Based on your photos, it looks like you have good results. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Surgery No, you are not botched, and yes, this can be improved. Liposuction in that area should remove the excess fat. During a tummy tuck, this area cannot be treated with liposuction for safety to your skin. Your surgeon did what was best. Go back to your surgeon and discuss your concerns and your options.

Answer: Tummy tuck revision An in person evaluation is needed to determine the nature of your concern. It could be fat or potentially the muscle wall causing the contour. I would not call this result "botched". I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon.

Answer: TT It's difficult to say without examining you it's possible that the bulge you are experiencing is due to residual fat or laxity of the abdominal muscles. It's not necessarily an indication of a botched surgery or a reflection on the skill of your surgeon. Sometimes, despite the best efforts of the surgeon, the body may not respond as desired. It's good that you have already scheduled a revision with your surgeon. During the revision, your surgeon may address any residual fat or muscle laxity that may be contributing to the bulge. It's important to have realistic expectations and to understand that there may be limitations to what can be achieved with surgery. Be sure to discuss your concerns and expectations with your surgeon before the revision surgery so that you both have a clear understanding of the goals and limitations of the procedure. Best of luck !

Answer: Lower abdominal issues It is difficult to answer your question accurately without a physical exam. It is not usually a botched surgery, but rather either lax lower abdominal muscles or more commonly, fat. The fat that was above the belly button is pulled downward with the abdominal flap and thus appears lower just above the incision. This type of issue may be addressed with a little liposuction.
