I previously had breast uplift surgery as a young adult who lost a good deal of weight as a teenager. I was happy with the results but its 10+ years later and my areolas have stretched greatly and look disproportionate. I don mind that my breasts have sagged however i hate the areola size. Can i get the areola size reduced without having to undergo another lift or implants?
Answer: Breasts You will need the to have the lift done or the sagging part of your breasts will just pull the areolae out of shape.

Answer: Areola reduction Dear ej_10, generally speaking it is possible to get areola reduction without breast lift. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Areola reduction Yes, you can have an areola reduction without a full breast lift. It is important that you discuss with your surgeon what your goals are in terms of results as you may be a better candidate for a different procedure.. There is a potential the areola could stretch again after a second reduction.

Answer: Areola Reduction Yes, it is possible to get an areola reduction without a breast lift. Areola reduction is a surgical procedure that can be performed on its own to reduce the size of the areola, the pigmented area around the nipple. It can be done to improve the appearance of the breasts or to correct asymmetry. The procedure is typically performed under local anesthesia and takes about an hour. The surgeon will make a small incision around the areola and remove a portion of the tissue. The remaining tissue is then sutured together to create a smaller areola. There are a few risks associated with areola reduction surgery, including infection, bleeding, scarring, and nerve damage. However, these risks are generally low, and the procedure is considered to be safe. If you are considering areola reduction, it is important to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and expectations. The surgeon can assess your individual case and determine if areola reduction is the right procedure for you.

Answer: Can I get an areola reduction without a breast lift? Thank you for your question and including pictures. Yes. You can certainly have an areolar reduction without a lift. However, the standard areolar reduction is done through a scar just around the areola. The number one problem with this is with this technique, your areola will most likely stretch out again. This is because when we remove the excess areolar skin, it leaves a hole in your skin the size of your current areola. Then we pull that hole smaller to match the smaller areola. Over the next year, it tends to stretch out to the original areola size The best way to perform an areola reduction is with the lollipop scar. With this technique, I can make the size of the hole the same size as your new areola size. But, if you're going to do the lollipop scar, you might as well add, or in your case, re-do the scar in your crease and complete the full lift to get the best shape. Have you considered an implant to refill your breast volume?
