Hi, I had breast implants and a lift on one side six months ago. Prior, I had tubular breasts. On the breast with the anchor lift, the nipple has not stretched at all, despite the surgeon telling me there were dissolvable stitches that would release. The left breast with just the implant stretched quite a bit, so I had an in-office areola reduction procedure six weeks ago. It seems that nipple is stretching out again. What needs to be done to make the areolas closer in size?

There is no way to guarantee that the areola will not restretch after surgery. It does seem you are taking some steps with your surgeon to lower your risk. Be sure to closely follow your surgeon's post op instructions. There are many good scar treatments available. The key is to use them...
It is best that you are free from infection at the time of surgery. You will need to discuss your situation with your surgeon who will advise you when it is safe for you to proceed. If your pneumonia hasn't fully resolved you will likely need to postpone surgery until you are well.
