Thank you for your question. The healing process does take a full year-though looking at your photo it is likely that the smaller nipple has had quicker reactivity and sensory return. It is likely that the smaller nipple can stretch to the size of the other. You may require another nipple reduction-though I recommend waiting at least another 6 months before another procedure to allow things to heal. Ensure you are wearing a bra with good support. Unfortunately the areola can stretch even after a reduction. It is generally related to the tension on the scar. You can consider another revision to bring them in better size symmetry. Permanent sutures may help.
