Question

I had a procedure called ‘neck define’ and am being told this is all normal / everyone swells / everyone bleeds. I suffered a massive hematoma/ infections/ 2 revisions now. I am about 6 months out from the last revision, and it still looks off. I keep being told it looks normal by this surgeon but I look so off and still so much pain. I know errors happen. I just want my life back.

I am not sure if I have ever heard about "neck define" procedure for neck shaping/lift? Based on these photos you will need another revision. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with excellent reputation and face/neck lifts is recommended. Good luck.

The photos show someone who will benefit from a deep plane facelift with platysmaplasty and deep neck lift; I am not sure what the "neck define" is specifically, but it clearly did not provide the results I would be happy with in my practice.  This sounds like a "branded procedure" for marketing purposes.

First of all, I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. A hematoma after a facelift is certainly one of every surgeon's worst fears as it can do significant damage to the tissue and compromise the surgery. 
I am less familiar with what a "neck define" procedure is, and to be honest the fact that its not called a facelift or neck lift, makes me question what is exactly involved in the procedure. I would agree that the photos do not look like I would expect after a neck lift and I would also likely be concerned if I were you. I think it would be reasonable to schedule a consultation with another plastic surgeon, ideally someone who specializes in face/neck lifts to get a second opinion and to really evaluate what is going on with your neck in person.

Without knowing the specifics of what was done, surgically speaking, it is difficult to say what the best course for you would be. However, based on your photos alone- I would say you would likely benefit from a revisionary surgery. I would recommend meeting with plastic surgeon with expertise in facial rejuvenation who can assess your current anatomy and come up with a surgical plan that will address your concerns.
