I still have a blackhead type thing on my lip. Originally my lips were leaking for about a week, but that finished up and now I’m left with this black spot that won’t go away. The black spot is not the same site that was leaking. I have 1ml in total in my lips.
Answer: Black head from filler: I had my lips done 3 months ago. Without in person examination to me appears as a small venous lake or capillary hemangioma. Laser therapy can correct quite easily. If not what I think these are, than need of in person examinations...

Answer: Lip filler resulting in dark spot. The patient had filler of unknown type approximately 3 months ago. There exists two small areas of irregularity on the upper lip on photography. The most likely possibility is that the filler was placed too shallow and is showing through the skin. This can be addressed with a simple needlestick to drain it. It may be however that there is a small AVM arteriovenous malformation which would require treatment with a laser. This is not the usual "black head." or comedone.

Answer: Lip augmentation bumps Whatever it is that you're seeing, is not very noticeable and most likely will disappear upon the dissolution of Juvederm. Basically speaking it's nothing to worry about. Good luck from New York City

Answer: Spot on lip after filler... Thank you for your question. This is NOT a blackhead as it is not possible to have a blackhead on your lip. This may be a very small pyogenic granuloma due to trauma. Please follow up with your Board Certified Dermatologist who injected you for proper diagnosis and treatment. Regards, Dr. Matt Elias

Answer: Black head from filler Blackheads form from obstructed pores on your skin. These pores don't exist on the lips. This may be a small area of new blood vessel formation but you would need an in person examination to know for sure. I would go back to the doctor who did your injection and see what they say. Best of luck
