Do you think I have Gynecomastia or Pseudogynecomastia? (Photos)

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  Very difficult to ascertain without an in-person examination of your tissues but based on pictures alone, I would say you have pseudogynecomastia which can be treated with liposuction alone.  Hope this helps.

Skype or in-office consult would be necessary for evaluation of the extent of your gynecomastia.  Though the conventional teaching has been that liposuction cannot remove breast tissue, I have found that I can remove the breast tissue with liposuction alone. This allows for small segmental reduction of the breast to produce the best contour possible and avoid over resection, cratering, and contour deformities. This also provides for much less scarring and potential poor scarring concerns.

It's very difficult to tell from pictures alone, so I highly recommend that you book an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon in order to give yourself some piece of mind. A gynecomastia diagnosis can really only be made after a physical examination. Good luck!

you do have gynecomastia, but a very mild degree of itTreatment for you would be a combination lipo on the chest all the way to the axila and then extraction of the small remaining glandular tissue Recovery time is about 10 days 

Thanks for your question and photos. An in person examination is required for any diagnosis, but it seems possible that you have fullness of your chest consistent with at least pseudo-gynecomastia (excessive fat to the chest). The amount of fat and/or gland that needs to be removed would need to be determined by your surgeon. I recommend an in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon. 

In more than 90% of patients there is always a combination of fat as well as gland and pure organic matter is a very red phenomena, in any situation the treatment options moralist remain the same therefore if you are looking for the treatment then consider it as a gynecomastia and get a liposuction and the gland removal done. Thanks and Regards Dr Amit Gupta 

what this means, is the big question, is are you comfortable with your chest appearance. if you are mostly comfortable with them (they look fine), then nothing needs to be done. If you feel that your breasts are too full, then you should have an open resection. i do not feel that liposuction alone does a good job. see a board certified plastic surgeondavid berman md
